摘要: Abstract The main aim of this review article was to address the performance filament wound fibre reinforced polymer (FRP) composite pipes and their critical properties, such as burst, buckling, durability corrosion. importance process parameters concerning merits demerits manufacturing methods discussed for better-quality performance. Burst analysis revealed that winding angle of ±55° observed be optimum with minimum failure mechanisms, matrix cracking, whitening, leakage fracture. reduction buckling effect reported in case lower hoop stress value axial ratio against axial, compression torsion. A significant improvement energy absorption hybrid thermal treatment. However, varying FRP pipe fabrication an influencing factor affecting all aforementioned properties. Almost 90% reviewed studies done using E-glass/epoxy materials production. By overcoming associated limitations, replacing synthetic materials, designing new material combinations cost-benefit analysis, production cost lightweight can decreased real-time applications.
