摘要: Asthma is a common airway inflammation, but current methods for diagnosing it are poor. Here we meta-analyze the available evidence on ability of exhaled nitric oxide (eNO) in asthma to serve as diagnostic marker asthma. We systematically searched PubMed and EMBASE databases, published data sensitivity, specificity other measures accuracy eNO diagnosis were meta-analyzed. The methodological quality each study was assessed by QUADAS-2 (quality assessment studies accuracy). Statistical analysis performed employing Meta-Disc 1.4 software STATA. And pooled using random-effects models. A total nineteen publications reporting twenty-one case-control identified. Pooled results indicated that showed sensitivity 0.78 (95% CI 0.76 0.80), 0.74 0.72 0.76). PLR 3.70 2.84 4.81) NLR 0.35 0.26 0.47). DOR 11.37 7.54 17.13). Exhaled show insufficient asthma, measurements may be useful combination with clinical manifestations conventional tests such pulmonary function tests, bronchodilator response bronchial challenge tests.
