摘要: Abstract Objective To investigate the effect of intaglio surface adjustment simplified lithium disilicate ceramic restorations adhesively cemented to a dentin-like material on its fatigue behavior. Methods Ceramic discs (IPS e.max CAD) were prepared and an in-Lab simulation machining roughness was performed by grinding with SiC paper (#60). divided into 4 groups according internal cementation surface: no adjustments (CTRL); medium (M), fine (F), or extra (FF) diamond bur. Dentin-like also produced. disc surfaces etched (5% hydrofluoric acid; 20 s) received silane coating. (10% 1 min) primer Pairs ceramic/dentin-like (Multilink Automix), failure load tests using Staircase approach (250,000 cycles; 20 Hz). Roughness, topographic fractographic analyses performed. Statistical carried out through ANOVA tests. Results All ground (M = 521.3 N; F = 536.9 FF = 676.2 N) presented lower values than control (1241.6 N). M bur created rougher F (Ra Rz parameters). However, FF similar M for Ra, Rz. Significance Bur greatly decreased even extra-fine Care should be taken when are needed.
