摘要: Cytokinins are an important group of plant hormones that also found in other organisms, including cyanobacteria. While various aspects cytokinin function and metabolism well understood plants, the information is limited for In this study, we first experimentally confirmed a prenylation tRNA by recombinant isopentenyl transferase NoIPT2 from Nostoc sp. PCC 7120, whose encoding gene previously identified genome along with adenylate NoIPT1. contrast to NoIPT2, transcription NoIPT1 was strongly activated during dark period followed increase content several hours later light period. Dominant metabolites detected at all time points were free bases monophosphates isopentenyladenine cis-zeatin, while N-glucosides not all. Whole transcriptome differential expression analysis cultures above strain treated compared untreated controls indicated together trigger genes related signal transduction, two-component sensor histidine kinases hybrid sensors regulators. One affected cyclase/histidine kinase-associated sensory extracellular domain similar cytokinin-binding receptors able modestly bind isopentenyladenine. The data show genetic disposition allows only produce cytokinins prenylate but modulate biosynthesis response light, triggering complex changes sensing regulation.
