摘要: Native Americans have some of the highest rates marijuana use and abuse, yet neurobiological measures associated with addiction to in this population remain unknown. The present investigation evaluated associations between P350 P450 components event-related potential (ERP) elicited by affective stimuli, dependence a Southwest California (SWC) Indian adults. Three hundred seventeen participants mean age 30 years who were free major Axis I psychiatric diagnoses antisocial personality disorder categorized as: (1) no disorders or other drug diagnoses; (2) (3) diagnoses. ERPs collected using facial discrimination task that generated late positive component two peaks at approximately milliseconds. Multivariate analyses variance was used detect three participant groups taking into consideration age, gender presence lifetime diagnosis alcohol dependence. Increases latency both found be co-morbid Women appeared more impacted than men are. A not any changes amplitudes. Taken together these studies suggest may delays evaluation identification emotional stimuli SWC Indians.
