摘要: Consecutive patients with clinical diagnoses of disk derangement and rheumatoid arthritis temporomandibular joint (TMJ) signs symptoms were compared by clinical, radiographic, arthroscopic examination. Synovial biopsies obtained from features synovial inflammation. No sign or symptom was found to be specific involvement although crepitation most frequently in rheumatic (p less than 0.001). Tomographic subchondral bone more revealed TMJs At arthroscopy often showed pronounced arthrotic changes In contrast derangement, fibrosis the TMJ frequent Histologic examination specimens correlated well findings, inflammation present patients.
