摘要: Eight proven and three presumed prolactin-secreting microadenomas were studied with magnetic resonance (MR) imaging. All 11 cases had CT evidence of a tumor. Technical factors for MR included use 1.3-1.5 T systems, 3 mm slice thickness, short repetition time (TR) (T1-weighted) long TR (T2-weighted) spin-echo pulse sequences. Six demonstrated MR. Four tumors T1 T2, one bromocriptine-treated tumor T2. failed to delineate the focal mass within pituitary gland in other five patients. The cause failures was not determined; however, size did appear be factor. signals arising from are variable possibly related activity cells. Correlation findings imaging, spectroscopy, electron microscopy may lead an understanding appearance microadenomas.
