摘要: Abstract The present manuscript deals with the synthesis and application of zinc sulfide:copper nanoparticle loaded on activated carbon (ZnS:Cu-NP-AC) for ultrasound-assisted removal malachite green from water samples. ZnS:Cu nanoparticles were synthesized characterized using FE-SEM FTIR. revealed formation nano-sized particles. Ultrasonic-assisted adsorption was optimized response surface methodology (RSM) combined UV–Vis spectrophotometry analysis. important parameters viz. pH MG solution, concentration, adsorbent sonication time by Central Composite design (CCD) Derringer’s desirability function. optimal conditions as followed: 6.0, 0.02, 3 min concentration 20 mg L −1 . experimental checking in these confirmed good agreements RSM results. results indicated that strongly dependent mass. uptake ZnS:Cu-NP-AC quantitatively evaluated sorption isotherms such Langmuir, Freundlich, Temkin Dubinin–Radushkevich isotherm models, out which Langmuir ( R 2 = 0.992) gave better correlation maximum capacity found to be 168.1 mg g
