摘要: Abstract Objective To determine the proximate and fatty acid composition of muscle, viscera, skin bone marine fish's horse mackerel croaker. Methods Freshly collected fishes were dissected their moisture, ash protein content estimated gravimetrically by AOAC procedure lipid was extracted using chloroform, methanol water in a ratio proposed Bligh Dyer. Extracted injected into gas chromatography connected to BPX-70 glass column evaluate composition. Results All body parts analyzed had varying moisture between 73%–83%. Horse contained less than 3% croaker above 4% all except muscle (1.4%). Fatty class determined for dominant polyunsaturated acids (PUFA) docosahexaenoic (DHA). Conclusion Both fish species showed variation, content, However, more remarkable quantity mackerel.
