摘要: The ongoing worldwide obesity epidemic is paralleled by an elevated incidence of the metabolic syndrome, a disorder referred to as clustering abnormalities that increase risk for cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes. Considered multifunctional molecule, pineal gland hormone melatonin also involved in body fat mass energy metabolism regulation. A large evidence supports beneficial effects on function normal pathophysiological conditions. However, melatonin’s role factors such other related disorders including syndrome needs further investigations, particularly humans. This chapter will address focusing insulin-resistant Since primary outcome be described pathological In view current knowledge, we aim reveal potential clinical relevance or receptor agonists setting obesity-induced syndrome.
