Local structure of ternary semiconducting random solid solutions: Extended x-ray-absorption fine structure of Cd 1-x Mn x Te

摘要: The nearest-neighbor distances around Te atoms in the random semiconducting alloy Cd1-xMnxTe have been determined by extended x-ray-absorption fine-structure technique. distribution of anion-cation is bimodal. A model microscopic structure zinc-blende-type A1-xBxC ternary alloys based on a cations has developed. describes bimodal terms distortion anion sublattice, using only lattice constant and bond-stretching constants each binary component. Within framework this we consider also problem structural stability Cd1-xMnxTe.
