摘要: Repeated surveys from Europe, the United States, Australia, and New Zealand have shown that adherence to an evidence-based perioperative care protocol, such as Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS), has been generally low. It is of great importance support implementation ERAS protocol it improve outcomes after a number surgical procedures, including major abdominal surgery. However, despite increasing awareness structured management, this complex slow. Barriers involve both patient- staff-related factors well practice-related issues resources. To efficient successful implementation, further educational structural measures be made on national or regional level standard general health care. Besides postoperative morbidity, biological physiological variables quite commonly reported in previous studies. Little information, however, obtained cost-effectiveness, long-term outcomes, quality life patient-related these remain important areas research for future
