摘要: Data were collected from children with severe chronic constipation, and the appearance of anus at presentation was noted. A visibly relaxed sphincter (indicating a degree reflex anal dilatation) seen in 20 out 129 whom this sign sought. The only differentiating characteristic group greater faecal loading judged on palpation abdomen. This evidence supports hypothesis that constipation such severity it referred to specialised clinic can produce signs may lead an erroneous diagnosis sexual abuse by penetration.
