摘要: Morphotropic phase boundaries, which separate two competing phases of different chemical composition, are the crucial ingredient for lead-based piezoelectrics. Here, authors show that similar enhanced properties and analogous thermotropic boundaries can occur in simple, lead-free ferroelectrics.
