摘要: Animal models commonly serve as a bridge between in vitro experiments and clinical applications; however, few physiological processes adult animals are sufficient to proof-of-concept for cartilage regeneration. Intriguingly, some rodents, such young mice, undergo connective tissue modifications birth canal elements the pubic symphysis during pregnancy; therefore, we investigated whether differential expression of differentiation markers is associated with cartilaginous morphological these changes. Our results showed that osteochondral progenitor cells expressing Runx2, Sox9, Col2a1 Dcx at non-pregnant proliferated differentiated throughout pregnancy, giving rise complex osteoligamentous junction attached interpubic ligament bones until labour occurred. After delivery, recovery tissues was improved by time-dependent chondrocytic lineage junction. This process potentially recapitulates embryologic successfully recover hyaline pads 10 days postpartum. Therefore, propose this phenomenon represents model investigating mechanisms involved restoration animals.
