摘要: OBJECTIVE The authors present this study using sodium fluorescein (SF) to enhance skull base tumors by performing a quantitative digital analysis of tumor enhancement. purpose is observe the grade SF enhancement tumors. METHODS A prospective experiment within-subjects design was performed which included six patients with lesions. Digital pictures were taken before and after systemic injection, same light source microsurgical field. analyzed computer software calculated wavelength (WL) pre- post-injection. RESULTS THE GROUP OF TUMORS WAS AS FOLLOWS: one vestibular schwannoma, three meningiomas, craniopharyngioma pituitary adenoma. in all strongly positive. pictures, considering WL post-injection, presented P = 0.028 (Wilcoxon T test). CONCLUSIONS consistent evident. introductory results suggest possibility as an adjuvant tool for surgery. Further studies should test clinical application
