摘要: Fluorescein sodium (FL)-guided resection has become an important and beneficial treatment method for malignant brain tumors. FL-guided improves the rate of gross total in high-grade gliomas (HGG) cerebral metastases (CM). FL sensitively visualizes disruption blood-brain barrier area surrounding lesions, similar to contrast-enhanced T1-weighted MR sequences. This review current literature summarizes history neurosurgery from 1946 until today. We discuss molecular mechanism accumulation tumors provide overview practice using applying a dedicated surgical microscope filter. Additionally, we outline ongoing trials future projects.
