Measuring Masculinity in Research on Men of Color: Findings and Future Directions

摘要: The purpose of this study was to examine the association between masculinity and health US men color aged 18 years older. We identified 22 population-based studies that included a measure behavior, mental health, or physical health. associations were complex varied by construct outcome, though they generally significant in hypothesized directions. Future research should explore centrality versus other identities characteristics, how relationship varies identification conceptions aspects are most relevant associated with specific behaviors outcomes.
