摘要: Purpose The purpose of this study was to evaluate the refractive change after Descemet stripping automated endothelial keratoplasty (DSAEK) surgery and its correlation with graft thickness diameter. Methods We retrospectively analyzed outcomes 45 cases DSAEK that were performed at Duke University Eye Center between August 2005 December 2006. divided our groups into triple pseudophakic cases. measured manifest refraction preoperatively postoperatively in each group compared difference preoperative postoperative spherical equivalent. evaluated Results Forty-five 44 patients (27 women 17 men) analyzed. Mean age 67.6 years (15-81 years, SD 10.7 years). Forty treated for Fuchs dystrophy 5 bullous keratopathy/bullous keratopathy. Seventeen 28 In group, mean an average 4 months +1.15 D (range -0.02 2.87, 1.15). +0.71 -1.75 3.0, 1.11). overall +0.88 1.02). Correlation diameter modest (r = 0.29, P 0.05), a small found respect -0.16, 0.31). Conclusions Our grafts demonstrated hyperopic shift surgery. This observation should be taken consideration when deciding on appropriate intraocular lens power may also aid anticipating Further studies follow these changes over longer follow-up period investigate mechanism are warranted.
