摘要: Abstract We investigate plasmas formed from solid aluminium alloys in air using a Nd:YAG laser double-pulse mode, view of the possibility enhancing analyte line emissions. In particular, time-resolved studies emission characteristics and plasma properties are carried out. It is found that Al II 281.6 nm considerably enhanced when burst instead single pulse equal energy. However, electron density to be approximately same both cases, temperature less than 10% higher with burst. The enhancement rather explained by formation larger volume emitting gas. This, turn, can linked greater ablated mass, as well presence preplasma into which second absorbed. influence interpulse interval on peak intensity several neutral lines different elements also studied. For lines, maximum factor 3–4 attained an range 0.5–1 μs. Finally, it relative standard deviation 20 consecutive measurements reduced 2–3 going single- mode.
