摘要: Background: Previous studies have shown that the individuals at high risk for psychosis suffer from depression, anxiety, and deficits in social functioning. The present report describes help-seeking behaviours, baseline psychopathology, duration of attenuated psychotic symptoms (DUAPS) their associations with other variables. Methods: Using Comprehensive Assessment At-Risk Mental States (CAARMS), we conducted systematic evaluations psychosis. Help-seeking current Axis I diagnoses, DUAPS, psychopathology were investigated. Demographic clinical characteristics short long DUAPS groups compared. Results: Thirty-eight subjects recruited nine centres. Participants seldom sought psychiatric services first contact, mean was 22.00 ± 28.59 months. Most participants had depressive disorder NOS most common these. Higher levels obsessive-compulsive symptoms, functional impairment also identified. We found no significant differences between psychopathology. However, observed significantly lesser distressing intensity thought contents greater long-DUAPS group. Conclusion: These findings suggest high-risk frequently received delayed treatment despite symptomatic distress impairment. No direct evidence supporting effect on found.
