摘要: Seventeen patients with progressive neuromuscular spinal deformity were critically analyzed. All surgically managed by employing segmental instrumentation Luque rods accompanied posterior fusion to sacrum. Satisfactory correction of scoliosis, kyphosis, and lordosis was achieved. Furthermore, maintainence production physiologic postural curves possible this method instrumentation. Head trunk decompensation pelvic obliquity not well controlled in series. Respiratory complications high-risk group minimal. Partial postoperative immobilization bivalved thoraco-lumbosacral orthoses (TLSO) employed the majority patients. Segmental provides significant benefits justify its continued use development.
