摘要: Life assessment techniques for components subject to random surface temperature fluctuations (thermal striping) are outlined. The approach depends on the thermal information available and ranges from simple evaluation of initiation fatigue cracking complete analysis crack growth. A new bounding technique is described, some uncertainties in various analyses listed.
