摘要: Abstract A statistical homogenization approach is used to determine the global behavior of granular assemblies elliptical particles with a wide range eccentricities. first step define variables use in description arrangement and evolution their distribution particle aspect ratio sample creation procedure. This part analysed through numerical simulations using DEM code PFC 2D . Biaxial compression tests also provide elastic characteristics different assemblies. Then two proposed schemes can be applied (taking into account conclusions simulations) results compared results. They proved strongly dependant on distributions correlation (for anisotropic initial arrangements particularly).
