摘要: The discrete (or distinct) element method (DEM) has been recently recognized as efficient numerical tool for solving many scientific and technological problems in various fields of engineering. started the 70-ies with its first application to simulate dynamic behaviour granular material work Cundall Strack [1]. Unlike continuum approach, DEM presents particulate an assemblage elements. It is based on Lagrangian according which particles are treated contacting bodies, while dynamical parameters (i. e. position, velocity, orientation, etc.) each body tracked during simulation. Some variations theme materials may be found [2]–[5].
