摘要: We evaluated the effect of antithrombin III (AT III) on plasma level 6-keto-PGF1α in rats to determine whether AT may promote release prostacyclin (PGI2) from endothelial cells vivo. The intravenous administration (250U/kg) significantly increased levels 6-keto-PGF1α, with a peak seen 90 min post-administration. Neither Trp49-modified III, which lacks affinity for heparin but retains an inhibitory capacity thrombin, nor plus after administration. Indomethacin pretreatment inhibited increase produced by III. Observations suggest that PGI2 interacting heparin-like glycosaminoglycans vivo, consistent previous observations cultured cells.
