摘要: Background Radiofrequency ablation (RF) is emerging as new therapeutic method for the management of hepatic tumors. So far RF-assisted hepatectomy has been described using an electrode initially designed unresectable Herein, we describe a technique liver resection bipolar radiofrequency device. Method Ten patients undergo device. A minimal zone desiccation around tumor created between pairs opposing electrodes result minimum amount energy released. This coagulated plane can be divided with scalpel. Results The parenchyma was blood loss. No intensive care unit admission needed. There no postoperative biliary leak or any other septic complication. Conclusion The safe and feasible, simplifies appears to associated morbidity maximum preservation. J. Surg.
