摘要: Stem cell therapy (SCT) has been proposed for the treatment of neurological disorders. Although there is insufficient clinical evidence to support its efficacy, unproven SCTs are being performed worldwide. In this study, we investigated perspectives and expectations chronic ischemic stroke patients physicians about SCTs. A total 250 were interviewed at 4 hospitals. Structured open closed questions SCT asked by trained interviewers using conventional in-person method. addition, stroke-related randomly via an e-mail questionnaire. Of (mean 63 years, 70% male), 121 (46%) responded that they wanted receive in spite unknown side effects.
