摘要: With the advent of privatization, deregulation, and competition in electric utility industry, there is a demand for increased utilization flexibility power transmission networks. Also, increasing availability advanced, multifunction measurement devices allows development comprehensive wide-area protections systems. The paper discusses an integrated protection system (IWAPS) that comprises multiple levels control. Digital methods allow implementation applications to cover wide range potential problems, including voltage stability, angle transfer capability, quality. IWAPS can provide significant savings form higher assets reduced equipment customer outages.
