摘要: Abstract In the current study, partial NMDA receptor agonist d -cycloserine (DCS) rescued memory consolidation following systemic bacterial endotoxin exposure. DCS failed, however, to restore hippocampal BDNF mRNA levels that were diminished a administration of LPS, and did not alter NR1 or NR2C subunit expression. These results extend prior research into role in neural-immune interactions, indicate detrimental effects peripheral LPS on contextual fear may be ameliorated with treatment, though mechanisms underlying these are currently unclear.
