摘要: Pancreatic adenocarcinoma, the human tumor with highest incidence of K-ras mutations, is one leading causes cancer death and has a very poor prognosis. Over past few years, molecular genetic profile pancreatic started to emerge: mutations in at least 90% cases, MTS1 alterations (somatic homozygous deletions) 80%, p53 about 70%, as well multiple sites allelic loss cells. The detection done by using several PCR-based methods. A modified allele-specific ligation assay recently described appears particularly simple reproducible. possibility ductal lesions being early precursors gained support from finding frequent these lesions. Although are defining event carcinogenesis, it unclear which context they occur. markers cells have been detected clinical specimens patients, including stool blood, raising diagnosis. In addition can be target for therapeutic intervention, illustrated use farnesylation inhibitors.
