摘要: The development of digital media has enabled the convergence different technologies and forms communication into a single distribution network, while also leading to diversification forms. These convergent divergent phenomena have affected way in which products services are created delivered. This paper explores implications new on design education, informed by teaching projects with graphic multimedia students. Drawing from research project conducted as part doctoral program, this examines what challenges might emerge for educators due divergence technologies. Observations made during were used basis discussion around questions such as: How do create relevant curricula that address posed media? growing gulf between traditional media-specific skills, skills required teach applicable across broad spectrum disciplines, still addressing requirements specific medium? Several possible approaches will be offered conclusion inform further pedagogic media.
