摘要: Organic agriculture is perceived as environmentally sustainable, but, under its umbrella, different production systems exist ranging from simplified organic productions to well diversified with a full implementation of agro-ecological approaches. Among several developed tools for sustainability assessment, multi-criteria models are increasingly gaining importance. In this study, we evaluated the use DEXi-BIOrt tool, coupled data long-term experiments, assessment vegetable scenarios. These scenarios were applied in two Italian areas: Adriatic coast Marche Region and Metaponto plan Basilicata Region. Despite presence some critical issues, DEXI-BIOrt proved be valid tool evaluation productions. both areas, most sustainable resulted characterized by proper rotations, inclusion service crops, cultivation local cultivars, short supply chain mechanisms. Conversely, substitution does not guarantee suitable level sustainability. The findings study could support decision makers appropriate measures enhancing framework post-2020 Common Agricultural Policy.
