摘要: SUMMARY What is known and Objective: Psychotherapy has traditionally competed with psychopharmacology. As drugs have become the more dominant treatment in psychiatry primary care, this approach increasingly criticized as limited scope, lacking robust outcomes too heavily influenced by pharmaceutical industry. Our objective to show that recent advances neurobiology are clarifying learning environmental experiences, such psychotherapy, change brain circuits do drugs. The leading notion of how therapeutic effects occur psychiatric disorders they happen when symptoms reduced improving efficiency information processing hypothetically malfunctioning circuits. Comment: With formulation their relief, it not surprising both psychotherapy psychopharmacology can be clinically effective for treating disorders, or indeed combining them therapeutically synergistic. Psychotherapy, including a new spinoff cognitive behavioural therapy called trial-based therapy, like many other forms learning, induce epigenetic changes enhance neurons improve just Conclusion: Psychotherapies conceptualized ‘drugs’, at least agents act epigenetically manner similar complementary These findings paradigm shift experiencing comeback various standardized, brief, goal-directed psychotherapies being integrated drug psychopharmacologists who relied on drugs-only approach.
