摘要: The present study indicates that coastal geomorphology is controlled by the natural processes and anthropogenic activities. changes in shoreline positions of Udupi coast, western India, are investigated for a period 98 years using multi-dated satellite images topographic maps. area has been divided into four littoral cells each cell number transects at uniform intervals. Further, past have demarcated future estimated 12 22 years. change rate statistical methods—end point rate, average rates linear regression—and cross-validated with correlation coefficient root-mean-square error (RMSE) methods. Resultant from human interventions inferred values back-calculated errors. About 53 % exhibit ±10 m RMSE values, indicating better agreement between satellite-based positions, closer to boundaries ~57 uncertainties estimations. Based on RMSE, influence calculated. cells/transects dominated record low whereas those influenced show lower higher values. manifests results this can be very useful quantifying prediction positions.
