摘要: Background Chronic inflammation is a critical health issue and implicated in several chronic problems such as tumors, auto-immune disorder, hypertension or diabetes. However, Juniperus procera one of the famous ancient plants that has been traditionally used to treat diseases hyperglycemia, hepatitis, jaundice, bronchitis, pneumonia. Objective Current study an attempt investigate anti-inflammatory effect extract on rats exposed cytotoxicity caused experimentally by streptozotocin injections. Methods Five groups adult Wistar (10 each) were examined (Normal control, Normal treated with extract, administrated streptozotocin, insulin and, extract). At end experiment, blood was collected from experimented rats. Animals then killed small parts both pancreas liver for gene expression histopathological examination. Results Serum analysis showed significant increase glucose, IL-6, IL-2 TNF-α levels streptozotocin. That change reduced cotreated extract. Moreover, upregulation A2M genes, while, either treatment restored normal status. Streptozotocin induced within hepatic tissues which clearly junipers groups. Conclusion toxicity induces acute increases serum levels. found significantly prevent reaction four weeks frame time.
