摘要: The effect of Olea oleaster and Juniperus procera leaves extracts their combination on thioacetamide (TAA)-induced hepatic cirrhosis were investigated in male albino mice. One hundred sixty mice used this study randomly distributed into eight groups 20 each. Mice group 1 served as controls. 2 treated with TAA. 3 exposed to TAA supplemented O. extracts. 4 J. 5 subjected 6, 7 8 oleaster, procera, respectively. Administration for six twelve weeks resulted a decline body weight gain increased the levels serum alanine aminotransferase, aspartate alkaline phosphatase total bilirubin. Histopathological evaluations sections from showed severe alterations including increase fibrogenesis processes structural damage. Treatment these pronounced attenuation induced associated physiological histopathological alterations. Finally, suggests that supplementation may act antioxidant agents could be an excellent adjuvant support therapy cirrhosis.
