摘要: Object. Aim of our study was to establish some peculiar features Meniere's Disease (MD) in a group elderly MD patients, which the first vertigo spell happened when over 65 years old. Material and Methods. We analyzed 73 younger than 65-years-old 30 patients. All patients underwent neurotological evaluation, an anamnestic evaluation including lifetime history migraine, blood withdrawal for autoantibody screening. Results. Some differences were found between Elderly presented higher prevalence Tumarkin attacks lower migraine; moreover, they faster develop hearing loss spells subgroup 32 matched duration illness. Conclusions. clinical have been pointed out. Particularly, rate migrainous positivity autoantibodies often associated with MD, opinion, support hypothesis vascular disorder acting as predisposing factor elderly.
