摘要: The plasma membrane serves as a barrier, separating the cell from its external environment. Simultaneously it acts site for information transduction, entry of nutrients, receptor signaling, and adapts to shape cell. This requires local control organization at multiple scales in this heterogeneous fluid lipid bilayer with plethora proteins closely juxtaposed dynamic cortical cytoskeleton. New models highlight influence underlying actin on diffusion components. Myosin motors well that remodel filaments have additionally been implicated defining many constituents.
