摘要: Abstract A series of straight chain and branched esters (ethyl acetate to 2-nonyl acetate) were purified by preparative gas chromatography their odour thresholds determined using sensory panel methods. Pentyl 2-butyl had the lowest acetates, respectively. Addition a methyl group at 1-position alcohol did not have consistent effect on threshold. For ethyl acetate, propyl butyl heptyl addition in caused decrease threshold; whereas for pentyl hexyl octyl an increase
