摘要: Bacterial colonization of the tracheobronchial tree is a significant problem in hospitalized and chronically ill individuals. Colonization occurs because both microbial host factors, with foremost mechanism being adherence pathogenic gram-negative bacteria to mucosal epithelial cells. In pathogenesis nosocomial pneumonia, appears be an essential first step. diagnostic approach hospital-acquired distinction must made between true lower respiratory tract infection. Future approaches major will require better understanding employ strategies that not only focus upon limiting bacterial pathogens but also attempt improve pulmonary defense mechanisms.
