摘要: The solar wind and energetic magnetospheric ions are important agents for modification of the planetary surfaces atmospheres with which they interact. Knowledge details sputtering mechanisms involved in these interactions can help determining interrelation a number processes. In this paper I shall discuss several sites system where phenomena significant. Our quantitative understanding examples could be extended if we had more detailed picture insulators. Recent experimental results that bear on problems as well gaps our knowledge prevent further progress will presented.
