摘要: Current views on the mechanisms responsible for emergence of multiple drug resistance in clinical bacterial isolates are considered. Hypotheses origin genes derived from determinants actinomycetes, antibiotic-producing strains, and chromosomal bacteria involved cellular metabolism reviewed. The underlying diffusion by means mobile elements (plasmids, transposons, integrons) discussed. Examples horizontal transfer between Gram-positive Gram-negative presented.
