Characterization, identification, and screening for tetrodotoxin production by bacteria associated with the ribbon worm (Nemertea) Cephalotrix simula (Ivata, 1952)

摘要: The taxonomic composition of bacteria associated with the proboscis worm Cephalothrix simula was studied and screening tetrodotoxin (TTX)-producing carried out using confocal laser scanning microscopy polyclonal antibodies. Bacterial isolates were identified 16S rRNA gene sequencing phenotypic characteristics. A Bacillus species found to be responsible for production in C. simula. Vibrio spp. dominated microflora (68.18% total number isolates). analysis sensitivity 16 strains antibiotics various classes revealed multiple resistance three or more all isolates. Poor growth most on laboratory media an indirect confirmation symbiotic relationships between micro- macroorganisms.
