摘要: Abstract In this paper, an approach to predict the sound absorption coefficient and transmission loss of a parallel assembly hollow cylinders is presented. This based on image processing Parallel Transfer Matrix Method (PTMM) using four Johnson–Champoux–Allard effective fluids. First, parameters each fluid are identified geometrical considerations numerical simulations. Then, validated for stack uniform plastic straws, used model natural non-uniform switchgrass straws. Finally, two parametric studies conducted evaluate effects geometric straws acoustic behavior their stack. It shown that there optimal maximize at specific frequencies.
