Possible association between eosinophilic fasciitis and subcutaneous heparin use.

摘要: The association between the onset of eosinophilic fasciitis and exposure to a drug or toxin has occasionally been reported. We describe 3 patients who developed few months after they received subcutaneous calcium heparin. In 2 patients, clinical manifestations eosinophilia improved interruption therapy. Although spontaneous occurrence cannot be excluded in our temporal relationship with beginning heparin therapy raises possibility that syndrome might precipitated by drug.
