摘要: We report on a useful clinical method for precisely locating intracranial targets. Utilizing the BRW system, technique is currently used in stereotaxic irradiation of arteriovenous malformations. An localizer box, with four radio-opaque markers each face, surrounds patient's head and attached to Head Ring. Two localization films are required. One film includes target eight anterior posterior markers, whereas other right left markers. There no constraints that be orthogonal or parallel box faces, only appear films. In addition, knowledge source-image source-target distances not Analysis projected gives both location magnification. Simulation Phantom Base demonstrates point targets can located respect system within 0.3 mm magnification determined 0.5%.
