VERTEBRAL SCALLOPING IN ACROMEGALY

摘要: Roentgenograms of the thoracic and lumbar spine 38 acromegalic patients were evaluated to determine frequency posterior vertebral body scalloping.Scalloping was found in a significant number patients, particularly region. The occurrence this sign has not been adequately emphasized past.Possible pathogenic mechanisms are briefly discussed.
