摘要: The human submandibular gland cell line (HSG) has been used as a model for studying the molecular mechanisms of salivary cells. aim this study was to investigate some aspects Ca2+ signalling. We focused on presence and function specific markers cells see whether retained normal characteristics, despite neoplastic changes. detected M3 acetylcholine receptor intracellular amylase mRNA with RT-PCR. Carbachol treatment caused rapid, transient elevation [Ca2+]i, showing that cholinergic receptors are functional in HSG Protein kinase C activation by phorbol-esther PMA, prior carbachol treatment, inhibited signalling pathway Using selective antagonists, we also identified dominant muscarinic subtype observed extracellular purinergic were present coupled Our results suggested coupling these remained relatively intact transformation. This enables us use role control function, proliferation differentiation.
