摘要: Abstract This paper discusses with the synthesis of nanoparticles ZnO and ZnO-SiO2 nanocomposite by sol–gel method. Characterisation studies are taken for each sample compared previous literatures. Therefore, synthesized particles were characterized FTIR, SEM, XRD & BET analysis to obtain chemical bonding, surface morphology, crystallinity area respectively micrographs show hexagonal shaped revealed an increase in particle agglomeration. In order understand crystallite size found be 44.37 nm 34.09 nm respectively. Practically, both applied preparation biodiesel applications. Biodiesel is alternative petroleum-based diesel that biodegradable, non-toxic being less polluting. Based on literatures, they produced from waste cooking oil using transesterification process as heterogeneous catalysts. The fame conversion was confirmed FTIR GCMS analysis. prepared its physical fuel properties like density, kinematic viscosity, flashpoint calorific value.
